I cannot believe how time has flown since my last blog!
Things have been so busy with work and life in general. I have started doing fairs and already have a few of my pieces in some local jewellery shops.
I have decided to stop selling on line because I just don't seem to get the time to pop things on, but I may from time to time show some things on my blog...
Anyway better dash..

Busy, busy...
Busy...busy... I have been working on overtime recently to get together lots of new pieces to show at Drumlanrig Castle...quite exciting really but I will keep you posted on this one!
Shown above and below are some of Emma Ralph's wonderful lampwork. She has definatly managed to capture a genteel beauty in these particular beads. I have more of her lovely artistic beads coming up soon.

I also would like to say a 'HUGE' thank you to Isabelle Anderson from 'Flame and Glass'; who did the most wonderful write up for me on Lampwork Beads for my site.....Thank you so much Izzy!
I hope you are all enjoying your Bank Holiday!

Sophistication....

I have totally fallen in love with 'blister pearls' recently...they are just so unusual and each set is completely unique.. so much so that I have acquired a huge new box dedicated to them!!!
These beautiful lampwork beads came from Lesley Mcfarland months ago and I have been looking for just the right companion to compliment them...I think the wonderful lustre of these silver metalic pearls mixes perfectly with Lesley's stunning 'psyche' beads...
I dont know about anyone else out there but most of my beads seem to come with a memory or two...Lesley lives just down the road from me so it made sense to pick them up in person...what was meant to only be a 'pop' in visit turned into the most wonderful evening of putting the world to right, a few cuppa's and I got to drool over her wonderful bead collection...!!!!
So I hope you like my newest addition...

Well... it's been really busy here today whilst I have been working away as there has been boat racing in the Docks...so many people...luckily enough I have had a great window seat view! I was going to post a pic of what was going on here but my batteries decided to pack in..typical...maybe another time!
